Veterinary Assistant

My Background

I graduated from Cornell University in 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science. During my time at Cornell, I gained valuable hands-on experience through both the Raptor Program and Sled Dog Colony.

Through Cornell’s Raptor Program, I worked with non-releasable birds of prey, including owls, hawks, vultures, eagles, and falcons. I was responsible for daily feeding and monitoring, maintaining husbandry standards, and working toward individualized training goals. I also had the opportunity to educate members of the local community through outreach programs featuring the birds.

I also worked with Cornell’s Sled Dog Colony, assisting with daily husbandry and care. My responsibilities included providing dogs with playtime and enrichment, supporting their daily routines, and assisting with procedures such as blood draws.

Personal Hobbies & Interests

I love hiking, nature, playing golf, and all sorts of animals. I am a huge fan of cats and just love getting to see them every day.

My Personal Pet Crew

I have two cats name Toast and Moo.  They are both very fluffy!  Toast is extremely food motivated and Moo is just a very strange guy.
